10 out of 10 would recommend seeing Dropkick Murphy's in Boston for St. Patrick's Day

Slamming Guinness's, chowing down on Corned Beef and Cabbage, and blasting Dropkick Murphy's; it's as Irish as you can get, especially on St. Patty's Day. Boston is now for celebrating this holdiday hard. It arguably might be the city's biggest drinking holiday. Between the bar crawls and the southie parade, St. Patty's Day weekend is top tier in Beantown. I would argue that the best thing to do during the weekend is to see Dropkicks Murphy's live in their hometown.

In a sold-out weekend at MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park, The Dropkick Murphy's' annual St. Patrick's Day week series of shows kicked off in Boston.

I wouldn't say I'm the biggest DKM fan, but I know more songs than the casual. With that being said, I'd put this in my top five concerts I have ever been to. I might even say top three...

The vibes were an all time high. The OG, Ken Casey, was phenomenal live. He owned the stage and sounded fantastic. MGM was the perfect space for the group and the music didn't disappoint. The openers were solid and the fans were absolutely on one. I didn't realize I would be moshing on the floor, but two straight hours of being in the mix was indescribable (This was the first mosh I was apart of, and man, what a rush).

If you get the chance to see them live, don't hesitate. If you get to see them live in Boston on St. Patty's Day, you won't ever regret the decision.
