Bryant Bulldogs: A weekend in the sunshine state results in a split.

Escaping the sub-40 degree cold that hit Rhode Island this weekend, Bryant traveled down to Florida to take on Florida Atlantic and Florida International. Hoping for a sweep, the Bulldogs head into Thanksgiving week splitting the series, and holding a 3-1 record. Here's how it all went down.

FAU knocked off Bryant behind Alijah Martin's 15 points. For the Bulldogs, Pride shined with 28 points and 10 rebounds, recording his 18th-career double. It was a solid scoring night, with Sherif Gross-Bullock scoring 13, plus Earl Timberlake and Antwan Walker both adding 11. However, it was a sloppy game too.

Bryant turned the ball over a season-high 21 times. The turnover issues resulted in 20 FAU points. The key moment of the game that solidified the loss was at the 3 minute mark at the end of the game. FAU, leading by two (72-70), missed two free throws but grabbed an offensive rebound and went back to the line. The same player hit two and FAU was able to hold on. Despite the four Bulldogs scoring double digits, Bryant fell to FAU 86-74. Not ideal, but short term memory loss.

Bryant bounced back today with a win over FIU, and it was an energetic one to say the least. The same four from the night before, all recorded double digits. Leading the pack was Antwan Walker, who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds.

Recording a double-double, Earl Timberlake knocked down 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Charles Pride scored 15 and SGB had 12.

The Bulldogs still turned the ball over 16 times tonight, but it was an improvement from the game prior. We know that Bryant can score from all across the floor, but their defense is what's going to win them games down the stretch.
