BWaB BIP Week 8 - Who Got Engaged?!

Updated: May 19, 2022

Zoom Call Summary: Season Finale tonight! Episode cuts back to Paradise Prom where we see Noah and Abigail officially break up. Show cuts to the next day where we have our final rose ceremony. The guys give out the roses:

Joe - Serena

Riley - Maurissa

Kenny - Mari

Thomas - Becca

James - Anna

Aaron - Tia

Ed - Mykenna

Natasha and Chelsea get sent home. The next day, everything gets serious. They have Dean and Caelynn there to host the final days, which was an odd choice since they left crying from paradise and aren't engaged. But I guess beggers can't be choosers.

They left the couples know that they have to decide if they want to spend the night together or if they should leave the beach either together or by themselves. The three power couples decide to stay together and go to the fantasy suite. If you are not sure who that is, Joe and Serena, Riley and Maurissa, Kenny and Mari all go to the fantasy suite.

We did have another relationship leave the beach together...

James was leaving the beach and he told Aaron so Aaron was like bet, let's get back to San Diego dude. I hope nothing but happiness for the two!

As for the rest of the episode, there really wasn't too much drama. If you remember from my last post, my prediction was that these three couples would all get engaged! But was a right? Click on this post to see who ended up getting engaged.

Congrats to the three couples! Ngl, Joe's proposal to Serena had me tearing up. I mean Grocery Store Joe is the absolute man. He is not afraid to be himself and I feel everyone loves him for that. We love Grocery Store Joe so much at BWaB that we made a shirt in honor of him: https://teamlocker.squadlocker.com/#/lockers/gsj-315551

At the very end of the episode we got a sneak peak of Michelle's season.

I don't know how I feel about this season. Like I will watch, and I think Michelle is awesome, but there is this odd feeling of already knowing who is going to be the Bachelor next season that doesn't make it as appealing to watch. I would say, a fun aspect to watching a season is thinking about the future, being like they could be the next Bachelor/ette or be on Bachelor in Paradise. But with them already picking someone from Michelle's season kind of took the fun out of it.

For the fans, you get one week off from me as the first episode of Michelle's season will be airing in two weeks.

Thanks for reading.
