BWaB The Bachelorettes Week 2 - The First Double Kisser

The first full week of The Bachelorette starts with a pageant. For the girls to get to know the guys better, they have a little pageant so the men can try to impress. The catch, they have to them in speedos. The producers did not waste any time to get a date where men are barely wearing any clothes.

The winners of the pageant were invited to a VIP group date. From the VIP group date, the only thing to note is we had our first person to make out with both girls! Logan, the man who brought the two chicks for his entrance, had the opportunity to have a great conversation and kiss both Rachel and Gabby. When the girls were talking about their nights, Rachel got to share first that she kissed Logan. From what we were able to see, Gabby did not share that she kissed Logan.

Rachel gave her group date rose to Logan and Gabby gave her group date to Johnny. Will be interesting to see if this happens again where both girls kiss the same guy and how it plays out.

For the rest of the week there are only two 1x1 dates. Rachel had the first 1x1 and she chose Jordan V for the date. Jordan V is the race car driver that she had a connection with on night one. Their date they got to do a carbon copy of a date from Nick Viall's season. They went into a zero gravity plane and got to mess around in the plane. Throughout the date they seemed to be hitting it off, but for whatever reason Rachel felt off. At the dinner, Rachel took a minute with a producer and told them that she didn't see it working out with Jordan V. So they had the artist who was suppose to be their private concert playing the walk out for Rachel and Jordan V 😂. The worst part of it is they seem to have a contract, which meant they had to play the whole song through.

While this was all going on, we got a couple cuts to the house where Chris was talking about fantasy suites. He was sharing with the guys his thoughts on how he would feel about which order he went in and if they had sex with other people in fantasy suites. The crazy part is I don't think Chris has had longer than 5 minute conversations with the girls, so might be a little soon to talk fantasy suites.

For Gabby's date she choose Nate to join her. If you are unsure who Nate is, he is the one with the really nice hair from the trailers. Nate and Gabby talk a helicopter ride throughout LA and land to a portable hot tub. The Bachelor producers really love their portable hot tubs. Throughout the whole date you can tell that Nate and Gabby are really vibing. There seems to be a really sincere connection there. Nate gets the rose.

At the cocktail party, Quincey and a couple others pull Rachel aside to share the Chris drama. Long story short, the girls send Chris home. I do think Chris believes he had the right to share his thoughts, but was probably too early to be sharing those thoughts with the group, especially when you have had only a couple of conversations with them.

At the rose ceremony, here are the men who got roses:

Jason

Aven

Eric

Zach

Jordan H

Quincey

Michael

Tino

Jacob

Tyler

Termanye

Hayden

Meatball

Kirk

Spencer

Alec

Ethan

Mario

5 men went home. We started the night with 29 men and ended the night with 22 men.

After Episode Thoughts

The two big things I thought about after the episode was 1) what week is this decision day happening? 2) how many people are going to hometowns?

Watching the trailer for the following weeks, they keep showing this decision rose ceremony where you the girls are choosing the men they want to pursue. I hope it is soon so they the season will turn to a more normal season. But the thing I am more interesting in is how many people they bringing to hometowns. Say the girls both get a normal hometown, we will have 8 men left. So will hometowns happen earlier than normal or they barely going to show us the hometowns? Or less men getting to hometowns? Regardless what they choose, I am interested to see how all of it plays out.

Thanks for reading.
