Lots of CAA action highlights Monday's slate. Come pick (responsibly) with me!
My last time out featured some solid wins and some brutal losses (including Green Bay, a 18-point underdog, beating Milwaukee outright...cmon man!). I'm confident in this Monday card to start the week off on the right foot.

Pick Notes:
Loving the CAA slate tonight. Of the six games to be played, I've got action on four of them. I am biased towards the favorites; I'm loving Charleston to get back on track against a team they crushed in Boston a few weeks ago, Towson to take care of business against W&M, and Delaware to beat an ailing Stony Brook squad. NCA&T is the one I am least confident in, as their body of work has been inconsistent and Monmouth is good for 1-2 major upsets each year.
Prayers up to Hartford, who had a lot go wrong this year (which I've covered before). Their two D1 wins are against NEC teams, and everything else has been - for lack of better term - a complete dumpster fire. No disrespect to Hartford, but just reading between the lines, South Alabama is close to a lock here.
Texas is favored to win by 4 on most books, and 5 on KenPom. Yes, the only knocked off the Red Raiders by 2 at home in their last meeting, but now Texas appears to be playing a bit more consistently in their new style under Rodney Terry (HC Chris Beard was fired earlier this year for pending criminal charges). While some think Tech will take this home, I am riding with the Longhorns.

Lock Notes: It's no secret that I'm all in on Charleston this year. Last time they met Northeastern, they were ranked in the Top 20 and smacked them 87-61 in Boston. Since then, Charleston lost two games - one to a solid Hofstra group, and another to a surging Drexel. The losses were a combined five points. But the wheels are back on for the Cougars, who have won their last three by an average of over 20 points per win. I love Charleston to defend their home court against the Huskies tonight and reprise their performance in Boston a few weeks ago.
