A new filing reveals just how lavishly those at FTX were living. While Sam Bankman-Fried's next court date isn't until 10/2/2023, the information that's surfacing is set to put him between a rock- and 115 years in prison. It's been determined that SBF, along with the executive board at FTX was spending an exorbitant amount of money on hotels, food, and airfare across the Bahamas. More specifically, $40M in 9 Months. Even more intriguing though, it's estimated they spent over $7M on food alone during that time. It's almost hard to conceptualize how much capital that is on a daily basis.
