Giancarlo Stanton is your All-Star MVP as the Yankees shined in LA.

The Hollywood Hero is the Yankees very own! Down 0-2 in the 4th inning, the starting outfielder for the American League did what he's done 24 times this season and crushed a moonshot to tie the game, guiding the AL to their 9th straight All Star victory.

Stanton, who made his first appearance as a Yankee All-Star, and his first since 2017, earned the honors as the games MVP with that 2-run homer. He's the 3rd Yankee to win the MVP, joining Mariano Rivera and Derek Jeter (2013, 2000).

All in all, the Yankees shined in the All-Star game, and as they should. They chatted with media, talked about the potential of adding Juan Soto, they were dressed to the nines, and they balled out in the game. The folks who played did what they've done all season.

Stanton: 1-2, 2-run HR

• Trevino: 1-2, single

• Cortes: 1 IP, 2 K’s

• Holmes: 0.2 IP, no runs

Now for some rest. It's time to get back and win out the season.

SIDE NOTE: Stanton might have won the MVP, but the real All-Star was the Organ Player at Dodger Stadium.
