Week 5 Review, Tuesday Night Football, Next round of firings, Dak's injury, and Le'Veon is free

Last week was the first drive of the 2nd quarter of the season. It wasn't the most impressive games, but a lot unfolded after the games tookplace. For starters, and I am going to be honest, I kinda like Tuesday Night Football more than Thursday Night Football. Three straight days of professional foosball compared to a random Thursday tease to then wait until Sunday at 1pm. The Bills/Titans game, altough a blowout, was more impressive then any of the previous Thursday games.

Prayers go to Dak Prescott, who suffered a gruseome season ending ankle injury. The surgery went well, but he was on a contract year, so things next season are going to be interesting.

We talked about Bill O'Brien getting fired. This week, it was Falcons coach and GM, Dann Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff. We are only five weeks in, but these moves were expected. A lot of guys are on the hotseat, including the personell from the Vikings, Jaguars, Giants, and Jets. How does Adam Gase still have a job?

Speaking of the LOL Jets, the biggest surprise of the week is Le'Veon Bell was released. Reports said he was going to get traded, but the Jets made the decsion to choose Adam Gase over him. Congrats to Le'Veon Bell honestly. He got PAID, the Jets didn't use him right at all, and now he can go wherever he wants. Reports are saying the Chiefs, and that would just be dangerousssss.

- WR: Chase Claypool (Steelers)

- TE: Travis Kelce (Chiefs)

8 catches, 108 yards, 1 TD; 24.8 points

- D/ST: Ravens

7 sacks, 1 interception, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 TD, 3 points allowed: 26 points

The Matchups

In back to back to back weeks, the highest scorer of the week goes to Bennett, with 160.52 points. He remains undeafeated after beating Hanold, as does Tondo who defeated. Ford finally got his first win of the year, but Densen still has a goose egg in his win column.

Week 5 Picks

Another week, and a unanimous pick(s) have let us down again. Thursday night football and Tom Brady really thought it was 4th down. He broke our gents and he even broke Ian Rappaport. Nobody could have predicted that the Rrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaiddeeerrsssss would have embarassed the Cheifs. The gap is closing. Hanold holds a 2 game lead for first. Ben and Will are tied for 2nd. Ryan is in third. There is a three way tie for 4th with Ford, Zimmer, and Basel. Mastrianni is in 5th, and James is in 6th.
