It's Thanksgiving Week! Everyone's playing this week, and we have a less-than-eventful Thanksgiving Day slate to show for it. With some upsets last week and teams in make-or-break points of the season, it should be entertaining nonetheless.
Week 13 Power Rankings
Teams to Note
Miami Dolphins (Rose 4 spots)
Mike McDaniel has made Tua's life much easier since he returned from injury. Despite a strong box score over the past five games, his average depth of target sits at 5.8 yards, and he's getting the ball out within 2.3 seconds on average, both of which would be career lows. Between the offense organically developed through their quick pass game, and the defense playing relatively well compared to how they started the season, Miami could make a significant push through their final six games.
Washington Commanders (Dropped 5 spots)
Here's a meme for why I dropped the Commies:
Week 12 Awards
Awards | AFC | NFC |
Offensive MVP | Tua Tagovailoa | Saquon Barkley |
Defensive MVP | Myles Garrett | Lavonte David |
Special Teams MVP | Wil Lutz | KaVontae Turpin |
Trench Tyrant | Rashawn Slater | Kevin Dotson |
Relentless Rookie | Chop Robinson | Bucky Irving |
Winners to Note
Lavonte David
Lavonte didn't light up the box score, but he played damn near perfect against the Giants last week. He was in the right spot on almost every play, which generated a 91.9 overall defensive grade, ranking 2nd in the entire NFL. He put up 2 stops + TFLs and a forced fumble, 3 pressures on 9 pass rushes, and allowed 1 catch on 2 targets for 4 yards - adding a PBU in the process. He crushed it in all three phases of defense.
Chop Robinson
Chop came alive against the Patriots last week. He's been heating up over the past three contests, and put up a 10 pressure performance on Sunday after recording 12 pressures combined over the two previous games. His 31.71% pressure rate since Week 10 is the highest in the entire NFL, with the next closest defender, Myles Garrett, sitting at a 19.30% pressure rate.
Bucky Irving
Big Bucky had another big day! My RB1 of this past draft has gotten better and better each week, and he put up 151 total scrimmage yards on just 18 touches. He also tallied 7.42 yards after contact per carry, while adding a rush TD. The Tampa backfield may not be a committee for much longer.

Week 13 Prediction
QB: Bryce Young vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (proj. 14.0 points)
Bryce just had the best game of his career on tape. If his receivers can haul in some of the drops they had, his day would have been much bigger. He should have a solid outing against the Bucs.
RB: Jaylen Warren vs Cincinnati Bengals (proj. 10.7 points)
Jaylen looks back to form, and is finally playing the same snap rate that he was last season. Expect him to be utilized effectively and put up another solid fantasy week.
WR: Rome Odunze vs Detroit Lions (proj. 10.6 points)
Since the bye week, the Bears have been force feeding Rome targets, and he's tallied 37 in the past five games (26 in the last three). He's also due for a TD, and should be a great play this week.
TE: Dalton Schultz vs Jacksonville Jaguars (proj. 8.2 points)
The Texans offense needs a spark, and Dalton can provide that when targeted. He has yet to put up over 10 fantasy points in a game this season, and he hasn't scored a TD, but they're playing a Jaguars squad that struggles against TEs. Plus, the Texans really need a win going into the bye week.
Flex: Adonai Mitchell vs New England Patriots (proj. 7.2 points)
With Josh Downs likely out this week, AR needs to target AD as much as possible. They have yet to build chemistry together, as AR has just missed him on wide open TDs on multiple occasions. This game is the best chance they'll have at creating a career-long connection.

Final Notes
I mentioned Bryce Young earlier in this blog, so I'm gonna shoutout Caleb Williams and Anthony Richardson as well, both of who had impressive performances despite their box scores. They made some ludicrous throws on tape and showed mature pocket presence.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I hope everyone enjoys seeing loved ones over the next week.
