We're officially halfway through the NFL season! The Chiefs remain undefeated, division leads have shifted, and there is a 10-way race for the first overall pick in the 2025 Draft. Let's see how things shaped up in Week 9 as we move into the back-half of the 2024 season!
Week 10 Power Rankings
Team to Note
Seattle Seahawks (Dropped 7 spots)
Despite an impressive win against the Falcons, the Seahawks don't have a significant victory under their belt - and they've lost five of their last six contests. They're also battling injuries across the board, another factor for such a steep drop.
Deadline Headline: Final Updates
Listed below are trades made during the final week before the trade deadline:
Cam Robinson (OT) and a 2026 conditional 7th rounder from the Jaguars to the Vikings for a 2026 conditional 5th rounder (both picks based on playing time)
Za'Darius Smith (EDGE) and a 2026 7th rounder from the Browns to the Lions for a 2025 5th rounder and 2026 6th rounder
Khalil Herbert (HB) from the Bears to the Bengals for a 2025 7th rounder
Jonathan Mingo (WR) and a 2025 7th rounder from the Panthers to the Cowboys for a 2025 4th rounder
Marshon Lattimore (CB) and a 5th rounder from the Saints to the Commanders for a 2025 3rd rounder, 2025 4th rounder, and 2025 6th rounder
Mike Williams (WR) from the Jets to the Steelers for a 2025 5th rounder
Preston Smith (EDGE) from the Packers to the Steelers for a 2025 7th rounder
Khalil Davis (IDL) from the Texans to the 49ers for a 2026 7th rounder
Tre'Davious White (CB) and a 2027 7th rounder from the Rams to the Ravens for a 2026 7th rounder
Besides the Marshon Lattimore and Za'Darius Smith trades, none of these really move me. Cam Robinson is a fine replacement while Christian Darrisaw is out, Preston Smith is great for edge depth as that Steelers group has battled some injuries there, but everyone else is either washed at this point in their careers, or won't provide enough of an impact. The most puzzling move was the Cowboys trade for Jonathan Mingo, but sometimes players do better once they land in the right organization.

Winners to Note
Jackson Powers-Johnson
JPJ was one of my top OL in this past draft, and since moving back to his natural center position, he's been playing at a high level. He posted a 90.6 overall blocking grade and a 91.7 pass blocking grade in Week 9, both of which ranked 2nd in the entire NFL. He allowed 0 pressures against 39 pass block snaps, and he put plenty of defenders in the dirt.
Zack Baun
Baun has quickly become one of the best LBs in the NFL this season, as he rakes in his second straight NFC DMVP. He posted the 2nd highest overall defensive grade at 92.6 this week, trailing only Trey Hendrickson. He posted 7 stops + TFLs, 1 INT and 1 PBU, and allowed just 10 yards on 3 receptions. He's been a menace in all three phases of LB play, and this week was another great performance from him.
Trey Hendrickson
The new NFL sack leader had a massive day against the Raiders. His 95.9 overall defensive grade led all defenders this week, and his pass rush was a big reason for that. He recorded 9 total pressures, 4 of which were sacks, and 3 were QB hits. He got home all game long, and he also added 4 stops + TFLs and a forced fumble.

Week 10 Prediction
QB: Bryce Young vs New York Giants (proj. 13.0 points)
Bryce has looked much more comfortable on tape these past two games, and I think he'll put on a show against the Giants in Germany. He's spreading the ball around the offense, and he has been much better at avoiding pressure - both of which spell success.
RB: Tyler Allgeier vs New Orleans Saints (proj. 7.5 points)
I've been taking swings at the RB spot all year, and Allgeier is probably the last one I take if it doesn't go well. He's the RB2, but the Saints are in complete disarray and he could cash in on that.
WR: Jameson Williams vs Houston Texans (proj. 9.2 points)
Jameson is back in the lineup after a two game suspension, and I fully expect the Lions to target him frequently throughout the game. He'll be the focal point of their offense in a big game against the Texans.
TE: Theo Johnson vs Carolina Panthers (proj. 6.8 points)
In four of his past five games, Theo has commanded at least 4 targets and hauled in at least 3 receptions. He scored his first NFL TD last week, and I think he will get more chances after coming off a season-high 6 targets against the Commanders.
Flex: Mason Tipton vs Atlanta Falcons (proj. 7.7 points)
Mason has to do something with this golden opportunity, right? Olave, Shaheed, and Bub Means are all out, and Mason needs to cash in. He's received 14 targets in the past three games, but has struggled to do much with it. I'm hopeful he'll make something happen against one of the worst fantasy defenses against WRs this year.
