I don't know how I missed this headline, but damn, we're getting old. One of the sports most electric players, Tavon Austin is hanging up the cleats. When you think of St. Lous Rams, you think of Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk, Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce, and honestly TA.
Yes, his NFL career wasn't was it was supposed to be. A multiple threat on offense and special teams, Austin not only caught 244 passes for 2,239 yards and 16 touchdowns in his career, but also racked up 1,361 rushing yards with 10 scores. He scored three punt return touchdowns in his first three NFL seasons, including a 98-yarder as a rookie. But man, was his time in West Virginia electric.
If you grew up playing football in the 2010's, you idolized his highlight reel. If Aliens ever invaded and wanted to see what Earth is all about, this arguably is a top-10 video you show them. Altough his NFL career never panned out as expected, we will always be able to remember this gem. To hell and back.
