The era of college hoops is filled with legit talent across the country. With more opportunities to play pro and the introduction of NIL, the transfer portal has become the lottery for teams eyeing for contention. This is the free agency of College Hoops, a game that isn't so predictable like pro sports.

Last year, my two favorite teams, Bryant and Providence, both went heavy with transfers to help them compete for the upcoming season. I was so intrigued by this process, but didn't know how these guys found their way to their respective home.

From coaches keeping relationships, to changing into specific conferences, and transferring into schools that are close to home or with friends, the transfer portal is a crap shoot, but Dr. Portal is here to take a deep dive into some of the sports top transfers.
