Red Sox to be featured in Netflix docuseries that will follow the team during the 2024 season.

We are finally getting a "Hard Knocks" like show for the MLB!

Announced today on Twitter, Netflix is teaming up with the Boston Red Sox and Major League Baseball to create a docuseries that will follow the Red Sox during the 2024 season and will in 2025.

The docuseries will be similar to Netflix’s other sports series, like Formula 1’s Drive to Survive, the NFL’s Quarterbacks, and the PGA Tour’s Full Swing.

Throughout the upcoming year, the Red Sox, beginning next week in spring training, will be trailed by a documentary crew intent on capturing a behind-the-scenes look at their 2024 season. The crew will have complete access to the team and its players, coaching staff and front office. Netflix will also be producing a documentary for their historic 2004 World Series championship team.

I'm very excited for this as a baseball fan, but would have been nice to have a true contending team for the 1st season. I guess they want a large market team for the first season. It would have been nice to get a contending team like the Orioles or the Braves, but I will be tuned in no matter what.
