After a midseason break, we're back for the first Rhode Island Hoops Player of the Week for February. A lot of great stuff coming from the Ocean State and this week's honors is shared by two ballers. Ish Leggett (URI) and Paxson Wojcik (Brown) shined and are your Co-Player's of the Week!
Leggett averaged 17.3 points per game, alongside 6.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists in three games for the Rams. That led to a 2-1 A10 record over the course of two weeks including a big time 25 points win against Dayton.
Wojcik led the Brown Bears to back-to-back wins over the weekend, with an outstanding 23/8 performance against Harvard. He averaged a steady 19 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3 assists across both contests.
Congrats to the duo!
