Road To Glory: NCAA25 - Year 1 with Buffalo

Till Wondo reporting in after his first season. I knocked the rust off and hit the ground running. What a thrill getting back into it, and I'm looking forward to the journey ahead.

After a 2-2 start, I absolutely dialed in. Cleaned up the playbook, worked my strengths, and rattled off ten stright wins. This resulted in Buffalo winning the MAC for the first time since 2008, being ranked as ahigh as 23 in the polls, and wnning the Myrtle Beack Bowl Game. The highlight of the journey was turning senior QB CJ Ogbonna into the Heisman Winner, Player of the Year, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Awardee, and best QB of the season. He boasted a whopping 4,681 yards in the air, with 46 passing touchdowns and 22 rushing.

The Decision

I recieved numerous offers to pursue a Head Coaching job within the conference and above. I had a fairly decent first run at recruiting, but snagged some talented players in the transfer portal. I've decided to run it back with the Bulls, and build this program into a contender.

Overall Thoughts on the Game

  • Great return after a decade pause

  • Would love to have a CBB version of this

  • The college atmosphere is fun and exciting, but a little disappointed in the graphics

  • It's tough in college once you advance past a couple years because it will be all random generated players.

  • The gameplay is so-so, kind of glitchy, and controls are rough.

  • Wish there was more to-do as a coach, but I might just be too early to judge.

  • Felt like it was a faster-Madden.

  • No trophy case is a missed opportunity.

  • The commentary and music got old quick.

  • I still am throughouly enjoying it, but thought it would be better.
