Arguably one of the most talented guards in the country, and a potential lottery pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, Providence's Devin Carter has earned the Big East player of the year nod after an impressive season statistically.
DC22 brought buzz around the Friars, and stepped us as a leader on this team when Bryce Hopkins fell to injury. There was talent across the conference, you can’t tell me anyone brought more to their team than Devin Carter.
Carter joins Eric Murdock (1990-91) and Kris Dunn (2014-15, 2015-16) as the only Providence players who have received the award.
