Rockets and Mavs put on a show; The NBA is BACK!

The NBA is back and the teams are off to a HOT start. Fans have been waiting for the conclusion of the season and the playoffs for months, and what a way to resume the season. Lebron and the Lakers open up and beat their cross-town rivals and Zion Williamson makes his coveted return. The big headline, however, was the Houston Rockets / Dallas Mavericks game. Final score…. 153-149. There were speculations that the games in the “Bubble” would not be high of quality. Those takes were exposed. It was an all-out offensive show and the point-scoring efforts by the players were the fireworks.

The Rockets star duo played phenomenally. Harden led the way and dropped 49 and Russell Westbrook added 31. For Dallas, Luka Docic had a triple-double (28pt, 13reb, 10ast), Porzingis scored 39 while grabbing 16 boards, and Trey Burke provided 31 off the bench. This was a big one for the Rockets, who although are locked into the playoffs, can still make a jump to a higher seed. Dallas hasn’t technically locked in a playoff spot; they are in a good position to retain the 7 seed.

The Mav’s were a short favorite over the Rockets, and the o/u was 229.5. That was smashed by the beginning of the fourth quarter. Ironically, the over hit on 6 games on Friday. According to @BetsStats, if you played a $100 parlay on every over, you would have had a payout of over $4,700.

With the MLB season in peril and the NFL up in the air, count on the NBA (and NHL too) to satisfy your sports itch and gambling needs.
