It's official.
Confirmed Tuesday by NBA.com, Steph Curry and Sabrina Ionescu will compete in a head-to-head 3 point contest on the Saturday of All-Star weekend.
Both players will compete to raise funds for their own charities, Curry for his Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation, and Ionescu for the SI20 Foundation. Every made 3-pointer during the competition is valued at $1k money-ball, with money-balls worth $2k. Curry will shoot NBA balls from the NBA 3-point line (23 feet, 9 inches), while Ionescu will shoot WNBA balls from the WNBA 3-point line (20 feet, 6 inches).
The competition is slated for Saturday night between the traditional 3-Point Contest and Slam Dunk Contest. All-Star Saturday Night will begin at 8 p.m. ET from Indy.
This should be a fun addition to All-Star Weekend!
