Subway Series Walk off W!

What an atmosphere it was at Citi Field last night. Going to the Subway Series is a bucket list sporting event for me and it was even sweeter when the Mets won in walk-off fashion! Starling Marte with the walk off RBI single and the Mets took 2 HUGE games against the Yankees. There were a lot of great moments last night, however the MVP in my opinion was Seth Lugo. He came in after David Feebleson gave up a 2-run homer to Gleyber Torres. Seth Lugo dominated the 8th and 9th innings and allowed for the Mets to walk it off in the bottom of the ninth. Mad Max was dominant as well, it just pissed me off after David Feebleson ruined Max's amazing start. Overall, really fun two games and it would definitely be special if these two teams met again in October.

Citi Field was an electric factory last night

My first time seeing Max Scherzer pitch in person! What an awesome start for him on his 38th birthday.

Great seats, section 308 was rocking. Felt like a playoff atmosphere at Citi Field.

Here's Frank the Tank after Max struck out Aaron Judge. First time I ever saw Frank clap or look happy for the Mets. There is a small crowd that gathers just to watch Frank watch the Mets. I would pay good money to sit next to Frank at a game and watch him watching the Mets.

Here's my video after the Mets walked it off! Starling Marte is quickly climbing the ranks of my favorite Mets. I don't think anyone will pass Pete, but Marte is a boss and has been one of the most consistent Mets this year.

Mets run NEW YORK

That's it for from Citi Field for the summer. It was an awesome July in New York City, went to 5 Mets games and finished with a 3-2 record. Crossing my fingers I will be back in October for some playoff baseball.
