Post bye week. Saquon Barkley, Kenny Golladay, and Kadarius Toney all returned to the Giants. The Giants scored a mere ten points, and it didn't come from any of these three. The touchdown didn't come from Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton, Kyle Rudolph, or Evan Engram either.
No... it came from second year offensive lineman, Andrew Thomas. It was a helluva snag from the big man, and it was an awesome moment to watch, but it's telling that the offense is hindered by the play calling of offensive coordinator, Jason Garett. I am convinced that he still has ties to Jerry Jones, and was sent to New York to help weaken the NFC East for Dallas. Your big name free agent, Kenny Golladay, had one catch for a whopping 12 yards. How are we not throwing him the ball?!
The Giants had a glimmer of hope heading into the half, only down 17-10. The Bucs came out looking like themselves and quickly shutout the Giants offense while dropping another 12 points to secure the victory.

Tampa Bay snapped a skid, Tom Brady threw for over 300 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and the defense showed up. This will be one of those games come the playoffs where "the Bucs season turned around". Sigh. I am starting to sound like a Jets fan.
The Eagles and WFT are on a steady rise, and with this loss, you can safely say the season is over. It's time to see which pick the Giants will have in the top ten of the 2022 draft...
This blog won't be home to any key takeaways because what good came out of the game? Yeah Adoree Jackson had a nice interception, and the defense held it's own for the first half. But that isn't anything new. This isn't a induvial sport, it's all about the team, and from the perspective of this fan, the Joe Judge rally cries is a load of BS.
The issues of the Giants are pretty crystal clear.
The offensive play calling is atrocious
Injuries have derailed the season entirely, missing Blake Martinez and Jabrill Peppers hurts tremendously
The lack of a formidable offensive line will never allow Daniel Jones to blossom
Until this is addressed, they will continue to lose. Gettleman should be long gone come the offseason, but removing Garett from his duties need to be priority number one.

The Giants will play the Eagles and are currently three point dogs. The way Philly has been playing, I don't expect a win. Could they win? Maybe, but don't get your hopes up. I'm all out on the current coaching at the moment, but still a firm believer of Daniel Jones and the players on the team. My new strategy for enjoyment? Root for anyone who is playing the Bears in hopes to land another top five pick too.
