Ok, so you made some money on Sunday, and blew it all at the hometown bar on Wednesday night. Now that the Venmo request for your overpriced cab is on the way, it's time to pay off some holiday debts by cashing in on this year's Thanksgiving slate. Here are how Tondo and I think each game will go against the spread, along with a prop bet for each matchup.
12:30 PM-Buffalo Bills at Detroit Lions
Basel- The Bills are back in their new home(?) stadium, and actually could be tested against a Lions team that is currently riding a three-game win streak. Detroit is fun, but Buffalo is back to being the dominant team we expected this season as they look to reclaim the AFC East. Gimme the Bills to take this in a double digit win. Bills -9
As for a prop here, give me Devin Singletary OVER 57.5 rushing yards. The Lions run defense is towards the bottom of the league this year, and I think Buffalo could lean into the rush here today.
Tondo-Bills -9. Detroit can cover, the Bills can ball. They cruised passed the Browns, and I anticipate them doing so against the Lions.
Prop: Jared Goff UNDER 245.5 passing yards. The last time Goff topped this number was Week 8 verse Miami. The Bills defense allows an average of 220. I think Detroit is going to rely heavy on the run, so I like the under here.
4:30 PM-New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys
Basel-I have never seen a team humble another one like the Cowboys did the Vikings last week. It wasn't the worst blowout I've ever seen, but for them to shut down the hype surrounding an 8-1 team the way they did against Minnesota was pretty wild. Yes, Dak and Company put up 40, but you gotta give some cred to the pash rush as well, who I think will come up big again and help Cowboys -10 hit.
For my prop, I'm going with Micah Parsons OVER 0.5 Sacks. Like I said, the 'Boys defense has been great lately, and I think Daniel Jones is hitting the turf at least once today.
Tondo-Giants +9. Listen, am I being bullish on my banged up Giants. 100%. The team is HURT, but the Cowboys are 1-10 ATS in their last 11 Thanksgiving games. This is a major spot for the Giants, and I like their odds to cover.
Prop: Darius Slayton to score a TD. At +310 odds, it makes it worth while. But seriously, who’s going to score for the Giants in the receiver category? Slayton has become one of the most reliable targets for New York, so hopefully he can produce a TD today.
8:20-New England Patriots at Minnesota Vikings
Basel-Even with the stinker the Vikes put up last week, I don't like Mac Jones right now. Even if I wasn't a Jets fan, the way that game last week played out was BUTT UGLY. I do not trust this offense to do anything, so give me Vikings -3 and Mac Jones UNDER 231.5 passing yards.
Tondo-Vikings -3. The Patriots got lucky last week after a dud performance against the Jets. The Vikings got absolutely embarrassed and need to win convincingly.
Prop: Dalvin Cook Over 73.5 Rushing Yards. New England lets up an average of 114.5 yards per game with the run. Cook has been cooking. Only two games this season Cook has totaled less than 73 yards.
