The 2024 College Football Regular Season has concluded, #bowlseason has just begin, and the Football House Awards have been tallied!

Keep reading for a full breakdown on all of this year's awards, as well as some extra superlatives from our Football House Crew.

2024 Football House Offensive Player of the Year

With 2,497 yards and 29 touchdowns on the ground this regular season, Ashton Jeanty is our 2024 Offensive Player of the Year. On the way to a Mountain West Title and a bye in this year's College Football Playoff, Jeanty set Boise State rushing records in both yards (single-season and career) and touchdowns (single-season) on the ground.

2024 Football House OPOY Nominees:

Bryson Daily (QB, Army)

2024 Stats: 877 Pass YDs, 8 Pass TDs, 1,480 Rush YDs, 29 Rush TDs

Cam Ward (QB, Miami)

2024 Stats: 4,123 Pass YDs, 36 Pass TDs, 4 Rush TDs

2024 Football House Defensive Player of the Year

Penn State finished 2024 ranked in the Top 10 Nationally in terms of total yards and total points allowed, thanks in large part to Abdul Carter's speed and tenacity. Expect all 10 of his 2024 sacks to get a lot of air time during coverage for the 2025 NFL Draft.

2024 Football House DPOY Nominees:

Travis Hunter (CB, Colorado)

2024 Defensive Stats: 31 Tackles, 1 Forces Fumble, 4 Interceptions

Kyle Kennard (EDGE, South Carolina)

2024 Stats: 28 Tackles, 11.5 Sacks, 3 Forced Fumbles

2024 Football House Coach of the Year

"I win. Google me."

-Curt Cignetti

In his first year at the helm of the Hoosiers, Curt Cignetti has turned a perennial Big Ten cellar-dweller into a CFP at-large team. As we move into a new era of college football, it should be no surprise to see a head coach taking full advantage of the expanded playoff and transfer portal to bring a previously irrelevant team into the national spotlight.

2024 Football House Coach of the Year Nominees

Kenny Dillingham (Arizona State)

2024 Accolades: After his Sun Devils were picked to finish last in the 2024 Big 12 Preseason Poll, Coach Dillingham led his squad on a dominant run to the conference title and a bye in the 2024 College Football Playoff.

Dan Lanning (Oregon)

2024 Accolades: Coach Lanning kept his Ducks in a row (heh) to stay undefeated en route to a Big Ten title and the top seed in the CFP.

The 2024 Houseman Trophy

While Travis Hunter takes home this year's Heisman Trophy, Ashton Jeanty gets the nod from the Football House Crew as our top player in College Football for 2024. Racking up record after record en route to the Mountain West Title was just too stellar for our voters to ignore.

2024 Houseman Trophy Nominees:

Travis Hunter (Athlete, Colorado)

2024 Offensive Stats: 1,152 Receiving YDs, 14 Receiving TDs, 1 Rush TD

Dillon Gabriel (QB, Oregon)

2024 Stats: 3,558 Pass YDs, 28 Pass TDs, 7 Rush TDs

Cam Ward

2024 Stats: 4,123 Pass YDs, 36 Pass TDs, 4 Rush TDs

2024 Football House Season Superlatives

Outside of our main awards, the Football House Crew would like to take some time to honor the many more players, teams, and moments that made the 2024 College Football Season so special.

Sam Basel: Silliest Controversy

Winner: Flag planting

If you cannot defend your home turf, don't get mad when your opponents celebrate. It's that simple.

Cole Hughes: Mr. Stickum Hands

Winner: Nick Nash (WR, San Jose State)

After leading the nation in receiving yards (1,382) and receiving TDs (16), you'd almost have to believe that Nash has developed some sort of sticky superpowers, right?

Will Tondo: Will's Linebacker of the Year

Winner: Jay Higgins (LB, Iowa)

Where there's a will, there's a way. While good defensive players find opportunities for big stops, great players make them. With 4 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles in 2024, Higgins fueled plenty of opportunities that helped Iowa finish 8-4.

Jake Zimmer: The Danny Woodhead Award

Winner: Cam Skattebo (RB, Arizona State)

"Even the smallest person can change the course of the future"

-Galadriel, the Fellowship of the Ring

Even at 5'10", Cam Skattebo stunned defenses for 1,568 yards and 19 TDs on the ground.
