As I stepped out of my apartment Thursday morning, I expected the usually late August NYC heat to hit me like a ton of bricks. However, instead temperatures in the mid-to-high 80's, I was greeted by a crisp, cool 68 degrees. To savor the moment as much as I could, I took in a deep breath of pre-fall air with only one thing on my mind.
"...This is football weather."
