The Metropolitan Poll Season 2, Volume 10: Iona Takes Down Manhattan, St. John's Pushes the Bubble

Another Monday means another set of rankings! Welcome to the latest edition of the Metro Poll, where as usual, our contributors at College Hoops Digest gave their rankings for all nine New York College Basketball teams. Check out what they had to say, as well as some of the biggest moments from this week.

Unsurprisingly, this week's ranking is pretty much the same as last week's as we really start to get a good idea of how each team will finish this season. Iona remains on top after a big win over Manhattan, followed immediately with a win over Niagara on Sunday. Currently 6-0 in conference play, it may just be time for Gaels fans to hit that "sim to March" button. For the Johnnies, their Sunday win against Georgetown could put them on the right path to a potential at large bid, as their next few games in Big East play all feature top teams in the conference, including Creighton, Seton Hall twice, and Nova. The Johnnies are currently 0-4 when it comes to games against Quad 1 opponents, so this week will likely be the make or break moment for their tourney hopes.
