The Metropolitan Poll Season 2, Volume 18: Last Chance for These U's

With some teams in the midst of the conference championships, and four more teams in the Metro Poll ready to begin theirs this week, we are fully entrenched in the Madness. Let's check out where our nine NYC-based College Hoops teams stand, and what this week means for their Tourney Chances.

Let us all take a moment of silence for four of our Metro Teams. Sorry to Hofstra, Columbia, LIU, and St. Francis, but better luck next year. As for the remaining five teams, they all sit in various states of Tournament eligibility. For Fordham, Manhattan, and St. John's, a big win streak will punch their ticket, but it will be very unlikely. It'll be up to this year's big boys, Iona and Wagner, to truly represent the city in March Madnesss. Of course, Wagner does need to beat Bryant tomorrow, and Iona needs to clear the MAAC.
