With the Nuggets advancing, a current, former, or future Knick has reached the NBA finals for a whopping 77th consecutive season. DeAndre Jordan, who played for the Knicks in 2019, rides along into the promise land, after ten straight DNP's in the playoffs.
It's a crazy (yet infuriating) stat, but for the first time in a long time, I am not triggered by seeing it. Maybe because the Knicks are actually on the upward trend of reaching the finals or maybe because the Celtics are about to get the boot by Miami after barely putting up a fight, I don't know. At the end of the day, it's wild to see, but I hope for all of our sakes, the Knicks get back to the Championship next season...
