Time to put on the tinfoil hats, maybe Tom Brady isn't retiring from the game after all?

It was a no-brainer move for Brady to buy stake in the Raiders. Vegas is the place to be. The sports community is booming especially with the Knights in Stanley Cup. TB12 already has ownership stake in the WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces, and I think he'll eye a piece of the Athletics when the move in town. The Raiders also made sense because of the New England ties. Josh McDaniel's, Brady's former Offensive Coordinator, is the head coach. Former Patriots Executive, Dave Ziegler, is the general manager, and a flury of players, including Brian Hoyer are now on the team. Oh, and their "starting quarterback" is currently Jimmy Garoppolo, but that's where the plot begins to thicken.

Oh? If Jimmy G isn't ready (or even on the Raiders), who is taking the reigns at QB1. Now, here is the chance to toss on your tinfoil hat.

There has never been an active player owner in the NFL. The first former player to ever own a team came back in 1994, when George Halas bought the Carolina Panthers. Brady loves breaking records, and this would be one that would be historic.

But secondly, does Brady bump Jimmy G off the team and out of the starting role because he is the ultimate grudge holder? The rumor mill many years ago stated that Brady was not about Garoppolo being the heir to the thrown. He supposedly gave an ultimatum, which forced the Patriots to trade the quarterback, and word on the streets Brady cheered when he was moved. Could this be the final chapter in the feud, where Brady comes out on top? Crazier things have happened. I joked about this on the podcast last week, but I want to be on the record to say that I had this concept first.
