Titans Run the South! Tennessee destroys Miami 34-3, to win their 2nd straight division crown!

Back-to-back AFC South Champs! TitanUp!!! The Titans dismantled the Miami Dolphins in Nashville to win the division, and with some help from the North Champs, the Bengals have a chance to get the 1 seed next week!

Game Recap

The game started slow, and looked like a defensive battle, with 5 straight punts, the Fish with 3, and Tennessee with 2. Finally, the Titans offense woke up, and scored via a beautiful play-action play, a 1-yard Ryan Tannehill pass to Geoff Swaim. Randy Bullock nailed the PAT to make it 7-0. Miami tried to answer, as Tua tried to throw a slant, but the wet ball slipped out, and Elijah Molden scooped it up.

The Dolphins defense held up though, and forced Bullock to try a field goal. He made it to extend the lead to 10-0. Miami got the ball back, and turned it into a 39-yard Jason Sanders field goal, which he made, to cut the Tennessee lead to 10-3. Then the Derrick Henry in D’Onta Foreman came out, and rumbled for a 21-yard touchdown run, to put the Titans up 17-3 before the half.

The second half was all Tennessee. The only chance the Dolphins had all half was their first drive, when Sanders missed a 53-yard field goal. The offense had a touchdown party, and it started with Tanney hitting a wide-open Anthony Firskser in the end zone for 6.

That TD made it 24-3, and with 3 minutes left, Bullock made a 44-yarder to extend the lead by 3. The cherry on top was a 39-yard Dontrell Hilliard run for 6 to finish the Fish.

34-3 was the final, and the Tennessee Titans won the division.

My Thoughts

The defense is good. They shut rookie superstar Jaylen Waddle down, and harassed Tua for a fumble and a pick. They will be huge in the playoffs.

The Ryan T revenge game was amazing. He didn’t light them up, but he did his job, and didn’t turn the ball over to the ferocious Miami D.

Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Burrow are welcome in Nashville anytime! The Cinci stars went off, beating the Chiefs and putting the 1 seed in the Titans control!

If the AFC runs through Nashville with a fully healthy Derrick Henry… Watch out! Tennessee is a Super Bowl contender.

Prayers up to tight end MyCole Pruiett who had a Dak Prescott level ankle injury. Titans Nation is wishing you a speedy recovery, and get well soon.

Fantasy Performer of the Week

This week’s Fantasy Performer goes to, drumroll please……………… The Titans defense with 20.20 points! A great game, and I’d pick them up if they are available for your championship, as they face the Houston Texans next week.

MVP, Improvement, Breakout, What’s Next

The MVP goes to the Tennessee defense of course. It was a dominant performance, and expect this in the postseason. Who needs to improve goes to the passing game. They didn’t need to pass much, but AJ Brown only had 2 catches which is concerning, but a wins a win. My Breakout for next game is the King… If he plays. If he does, it will be very limited, but it will be fun to watch. For Week 18, the Titans travel to Houston to take on the Texans. IF they win, they clinch the 1 seed. As for the Dolphins, they go home to play the Patriots, who embarrassed the poor Jaguars this week… Until next time! TitanUp!
