Will Tondo and MarxTakes predict Rhianna's Super Bowl Halftime Show Set.

It's Super Bowl Week folks! Not everyone cares that it's the Kelce Bowl or the next Big Game appearance for Mahomes and the Chiefs, so we are here to predict what Bad Girl RiRi is going to perform at the halftime show.

Couple things to note for this performance. After Taylor Swift rumors swirled and she ultimately backed out of the gif, Rhianna was awarded the performance, and this will mark her first public set since the 2018 Grammys, where she won for best Rap/Sung Performance.

It's expected that the show will be anywhere from 12-15 minutes based off of previous performances, so you can expect to hear anywhere from 8-12 songs.

No Guests have been publicly announced to join her on stage but according to TMZ, Rihanna and her creative team are working with a list of 50 possible guests to perform with her.

Will's Picks

  1. Umbrella (2007) - (Feat. Jay Z Intro)

  2. Run This Town (2008) - (Feat. Jay-Z)

  3. Bitch Better Have My Money (2015)

  4. Pon De Replay (2005)

  5. SOS (2008)

  6. We Found Love (2011)

  7. Wild Thoughts (2007) - (Feat. DJ Khalid Appearance)

  8. Work (2008) - (Feat. Drake Appearance)

  9. Stay (2013)

  10. Lift Me Up (2022)

  11. Diamonds (2012)

  12. Shut Up and Drive (2007)

We've been brainstorming this blog for about a week, and when I was thinking of the first song, I dreamed of of the drum beat and Jay Z introducing Rhianna to the crowd. She is going to start with a banger, and follow the performance through with some high energy bops. If Jay Z is kicking things off, might as well throw in a back-to-back with "Run This Town".

I see the headliners to kick off the top half, followed by her features, then it starts to slow down a bit so it can work in her new Wakanda Forever Song "Lift Me Up", which parlays into "Diamonds" and then brings the energy back up to close out with some bangers.

DJ Khalid and Drake get the nod for appearances, especially with their connection to the NFL.

A lot of reports are saying that "Shut Up and Drive" will miss the cut because of a numbers standpoint, but I think the radio hit is a perfect finale.

Gracie's Picks

The MarxTakes preferred track list for Rihanna’s Super Bowl performance:

  1. Pon De Replay (2005)

  2. SOS (2006)

  3. Umbrella (2007)

  4. Live Your Life (T.I comes out) (2008)

  5. Run this town (Jay z comes out)

  6. What’s my Name (2010)

  7. We Found Love (2011)

  8. Diamonds (2012)

  9. Work (2016) Drake comes out

  10. A new release

A perfect mix of oldies and mainstream bops in my opinion. I know the Drake thing is highly unlikely, but as a mega Drake fan, just let me dream please.

There is also a betting angle on the halftime show where you can bet on the opening song she performs. Here are the odds:

  • Don't Stop The Music+150

  • Run This Town+300

  • Diamonds+600

  • This Is What You Came For+600

  • Bitch Better Have My Money+800

  • Umbrella+1000

  • Stay+1100

  • We Found Love+1100

  • Where Have You Been+1500

  • SOS+1500

  • Pon De Replay+1500

  • Shut Up And Drive+1500

It may be worth a sprinkle on Pon De Replay at +1500 for the opening song. I think Jay z coming out for Run This Town is an absolute lock.

Very excited for this show and to see Rihanna back on the stage after what feels like forever!
