So I know I said the playoff chase was on last week, but with some legitimate elimination scenarios this weekend, the playoff chase is REALLY ON now. With a 24-15 win over the Arlington Renegades, the Seattle Sea Dragons have now put last place Vegas on the ropes in Week 7. With a loss to San Antonio, the Vipers could become the first team in 2023 to be eliminated from postseason contention. The Orlando Guardians got some cushion with the Renegades loss, but need a win this week and next week if they want a realistic chance at sneaking into the postseason.
With three games left to play in Week 7, let's see how our House Enterprise Crew sees things panning out on the gridiron, starting off with our latest Power Rankings:
Saturday at 3 PM-San Antonio Brahmas at Vegas Vipers
Picks by Will Tondo
Playoff implications are in full force today! If the Vipers lose, they are surely out of the postseason. The Brahmas look to build on a 15-9 victory last week against the Renegades. The defense has been their savior as of late, allowing just a mere 12 points per game over the last three weeks. They've also become an under-machine, allowing less than 18 points five times this season. The Vipers haven’t covered the spread since Week 1, mostly in part because their defense allowing 29 or more points in 4 consecutive outings.Jack Coan is questionable with an ankle injury and might be forced to turn to recently acquired QB Kurt Benkert to start. It shouldn’t matter because the Vipers are as bad as they get. They scored a season-low 6 points last week.Roll Brahmas. Give me the Brahmas moneyline, spread, and the over (yes the over) on this one. The offense should tear apart the defense and get a much needed back-to-back win.

Saturday at 6 PM-DC Defenders at Orlando Guardians
Picks by Sam Basel
Opposite ends of the XFL Spectrum clash today in Orlando, as the undefeated DC Defenders take on the winless Orlando Guardians. It's been a rough go for the Guardians this season, as they've put up a fight against some really good opponents, but just can't reach that next level to come out on top with a win. The biggest challenge in a season like this one is always getting your bearings and figuring out how to compete with your teammates, and while the Guardians have shown noticeable improvement, they're still a long ways away from being competitive in this league. If they're looking for a team to emulate, look no further than DC. Give me the rolling Defenders to win, cover, and hit the over today.

Sunday at 2 PM-St. Louis Battlehawks at Houston Roughnecks
Picks by Jordan Laube
This is a tough one. The Roughnecks seem to be my team with how much I’ve covered them, but the Battlehawks are red hot right now. I think STL actually pulls the win out, making them my favorite for the moneyline and covering the spread. Unlike last week, I expect this to be a shootout as the Roughnecks defense has seemed to have no answers, but their offense has been solid in terms of points as of late, so give me the over. The Battlehawks are on fire right now, while the Roughnecks have lost their mojo. It’ll take a massive 180 for the Roughnecks to dominate this week, but they could edge it out if a few plays go their way this week. Regardless, I like the Battlehawks in a shootout, especially with the way McCarron has played the past several weeks. St. Louis takes home the dub this week, 29-27.
